Description: Join Scena Performance and runners from all over the world at Volcán Rincón de la Vieja in Liberia, Costa Rica for the North Face Endurance Challenge! Race day is Saturday, May 28, 2016 with distances between 10k and 80k. The North Face Endurance Challenge Costa Rica 2016 is a trail running endurance race that will combine an athletic challenge with tourism. It is part of the International Race Series organized by The North Face, seeking to promote mountain sports immersed in nature in a safe and responsible way, with a minimum impact philosophy. This race format includes categories for beginning trail runners as well as for the intermediate and expert ultra runners. The race courses explore stunning natural terrain and their difficulty varies with the different distances offered. The race altitude will be between 850ft and 3,280ft above sea level, depending on the race course length. This mountain race will have all trails clearly marked and the challenge will be to explore your own limits within the race distance chosen.
