Towers Revenge 5km Trail Run

After your classic Fourth of July celebration, experience the wilder side of the Northwoods. Push yourself to the limits out on this challenging 5k route through some of the park’s toughest terrain. The course is a mix of scenic single-track trails on The Heights snowshoe trail (watch for rocks and tree roots) and wide ski trails including Fire Tower, Beaver Pond, and VO2 Max (aptly named). Climb to two of the highest points in the park and cruise under the shadow of the two towers (Squirrel Hill Fire Look Out Tower and Radio Tower). Do you have what it takes to conquer both of these hills?

Muggy Buggy 3k Fun Run/Walk

Looking for a slightly more tame trail experience? Have no fear, the Muggy Buggy is held on our easiest ski trails and is perfect for the whole family. No towers to fear here! Participants are welcome to run, walk, skip…whatever! This race is untimed.

Post race food and beverage is only guaranteed for racers who register by 11:59 pm on June 28th, 2025! 

Post Race Fun

No matter which race you register for, there will be a party waiting for you back at the Chalet with games, family activities, and refreshing watermelon (seed spitting contest anyone?). Enjoy the day after the race and explore the Squirrel Hill Disc Golf Course – discs are available to borrow for free!
