COVID-19 UPDATE
Dear Runners and Volunteers,
These past few months have been challenging for all of us as we navigate this unprecedented time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of those who have been affected by COVID-19, including many of the first responders who participate in and support our race.
Your health and safety is our first priority. After careful consideration and consultation with the healthcare community and local authorities, it is with heavy a heart that we have decided to cancel the 2020 Wild Rogue Relay.
A 218 mile team running adventure through Southern Oregon’s most beautiful terrain. One of the most unique, scenic, wilderness relay courses in the United States – relay race runners will trace the wild Rogue River through the Cascade Mountains to the wild Oregon coast over this 218 mile course.
The Wild Rogue Relay consists of 12 person or 6 person ultra teams that rotate through 36 transition areas. Each relay team member runs 3 legs of varying lengths and difficulty and will cover an average total distance of 18-20 miles. We will begin the 221 mile relay race just outside of Jacksonville, Oregon on the shore of Applegate Lake, and it will end at the beautiful Azalea Park in Brookings, Oregon. Bring your 12- or 6- person team to Southern Oregon for this overnight relay race.
Start venue is: Applegate Lake Hart-Tish Park
