The Mission

Description: ***It is with great disappointment that this January’s event has been cancelled due to very few entries to date. It is a real shame as so many people have expressed interest and the trails ans scenery runners would experience along the course are spectacular. The event will take place in the future – possibly late 2016 or early 2017*** Should you choose to accept it…! The MISSION – a 54km alpine trail run that traverses four high country stations surrounding the majestic Lake Wakatipu in Queenstown, New Zealand. The mountain trails allow plenty of opportunity to explore and experience the high country stations along its journey starting at Mt Nicholas and finishing at Cecil Peak via Walter Peak and Halfway Bay farming stations including the Afton and Lochy Valley’s. But that’s not all…! Just to make the adventure even more adventurous… Runners will also sail to the start and from the finish to make everyone’s day even more memorable!
