RACE INFO

It’s about FUN, WELLNESS ,TEAMWORK and supporting pediatric cancer. This race caters to all ages and fitness levels. Since 2011, contestants have been pairing up with friends, family members and co-workers ~ competing against other similar age teams.

  Modeled after the TV show, 2 person teams complete a 1.5 mile cross country course sprinkled with show inspired stations every 300 yards. Teams draw upon their athletic, problem-solving and teamwork skills to complete each task, before advancing to the next station. The first teams to arrive at the end are declared the winners. 

 Be prepared to get a little dirty and wet. This race is way more fun than a 5k race! 

DETAILS

1. Open for ages 5 to 85 … walkers, joggers & runners.

2. 2 person teams (any combination) … adult/adult, adult/kid or kid/kid.

3. 2 courses … competitive for adults & active teams / recreation for kids & leisure teams.

4. Average time 60 minutes to complete the course is 60 minutes.

5. Waves begin every 10 minutes … kids teams, then adult teams. .

6. 4 medals divisions … based on grade or age of younger team member

(Grades K-3 / Grades 4-8 / Grades 9 – Age 39 / Ages 40 & older)

7. Donate 2 pairs of used sneakers for pediatric cancer & receive 2 minutes off your final time.

8. Sign up to volunteer and race for FREE!

9. Spectators are welcome to tag along & cheer on the contestants for FREE!
