The Elfin Forest Keepin’ It Rural 5K/10K

Description: Come join the communities of Elfin Forest, Harmony Grove and Eden Valley for a 5k/ 10k trail run/hike to raise funds to help “keep it rural.” These areas are a hidden gem in San Diego North County, home of diverse wildlife, scenic trails and biological diversity. This event raises money to help preserve open space and fund the cause of keeping this area scenic, rural and pristine. This will be a chip-timed race for both the 5k and the 10k and the most scenic and challenging trails race in San Diego County. The 5k can include hikers and runners while the 10k will be limited to runners. 5K Course Info: 3.1 miles from 778 to 1330 feet of elevation. 911 feet of climbing overall. Single track, dirt road, rocks, decomposed granite and sandy terrains. 10K Course Info: Very technical 6.2 miles with 1612 feet of climbing overall. Single track, dirt trails, rocks, decomposed granite and sandy terrains.
