Description:

On August 1st a new challenge and tradition will be unleashed with the creation of SMR! SMR is a mountain/trail race that will cover approximately 7 miles up and down the Swain Ski Slopes (South of Rochester, NY) with nearly 2700ft of elevation gain. This race won’t be easy but we can promise it will be epic!!! The race course consists of 2 Loops totaling approximately 7miles and 2700ft of elevation gain. We will offer 2 options with the race (the full 7mile race and a 1 loop option). Only participants who register and compete in the full 7mile race will be eligible for awards. The first 130 registrants will receive a SMR Pint Glass!!

Camping sites at the race location are available for $15 for tent and $30 for RV. First come first serve. Please claim your spot when you register online.

USATF Niagara Mountain Championships Swain Mountain Race will serve as the 2020 USATF Niagara Association Open and Masters Mountain Championships. The race will also be part of the 2020 USATF Niagara Runner Of The Year Series and Team Grand Prix Series. Due to the sanctioning of this USATF event and Association Championship Hiking poles are prohibited. Any 2020 USATF member will receive a $5 discount when you use your membership number when pre registering online. Only USATF Niagara Members will be eligible for USATF Niagara Awards.
