Sunlight Showdown Trail Race

The Sunlight Showdown is a Running race in Glenwood Springs, Colorado consisting of a Half Marathon Trail Run.

Challenge yourself to one of the toughest half marathons in the state! The Sunlight Sunny Half is a trail race covering 13.1 miles and climbing more than 3,000 vertical feet. Whether you are a seasoned trail vet looking to push yourself to the limits, or a newcomer to the sport, this race will not disappoint.

The course travels through Sunlight’s Babbish Gulch backcountry trail system and climbs to Sunlight’s 9,895-foot summit atop Compass Peak. Featuring 75% single track trail, you will wind through open meadows, pine and aspen forest, stream crossings and top out with the best view of Mt Sopris in the Roaring Fork Valley.
