Steep Camp Sunrise

Description: If FIXED TIME is your jam, we’ve got two route options for you this year. We’re bringing back last year’s LONG Course loop, and introducing a new SHORT Course loop for 2020. Tackle the LONG course loop, climbing peaks of 10,700 and 11,100ft. You’ll cover just over 6 miles with each loop and gain aboiut 1,965 vertical feet. If banking more “runnable” miles at altitude is your main focus, the new SHORT Course loop is just for you. You’ll share pieces of the initial ascent and final descent with the LONG Course loop, but we’ll cut you across the mountain about halfway to the top. The short course will have approximately 600ft of gain per loop, and cover about 3 miles. More details soon. The fixed time event is a looped course, with a go as you please approach. If a few loops are all you need, come knock them out and stay to cheer on the runners trying to fit in multiple summits in a day. This event is sure to get your heart racing! For those of you curious about fixed time events, but more interested in a fixed distance, we have a 10K and a 20K distance option. Get out on the course for one full loop of the LONG course with plenty of vert, or tackle two LONG course loops for your day and have twice the time to take in all of the views.
