Star City San Bruno Mountain Trail Half Marathon

The Excelsior Running Club is proud to present the first annual Star City San Bruno Mountain Half Marathon! Sure to become one of the top trail half marathons in the country, the race boasts spectacular views of the Pacific, Bay and San Francisco.

The race is 95% on trail, kicks in 2,400 ft of elevation fun, and has a screaming single track downhill section. Want to know the intimate details of your journey, check out our Course page.

But besides a great trail challenge, your entry also gets you a ticket to the Star City Music Festival and a great lunch from the Brisbane Lions Club booth – home to their world famous tri-tip sandwich!

A portion of your registration fee will go to support the San Mateo County Parks Department and local environmental non-profit, San Bruno Mountain Watch.

Our race was dreamed up by runners who love the trails of San Bruno Mountain. We wanted to create an amazing running experience, and then have a great party to celebrate our accomplishment. As far as we know, no other trail half marathon provides the complete package like the Star City San Bruno Mountain Half Marathon!
