Description:

The Northwest Nav Races team has been brainstorming new venues, and we’re excited to be hosting our third ever Checkpoint Run in the rolling terrain and open forests of Soaring Eagle Regional Park!

The Checkpoint Run is a smashup of a point-to-point navigation race and a trail run, with a strategic twist, and also a tiny bit of DNA from the infamous Barkley Marathons. Come try it out at Soaring Eagle Regional Park, which features beautiful forest that is open and runnable in places, flat to gently-rolling terrain punctuated by steep-sided ravines, and a web of sweet winding singletrack trails flanking a wider promenade spanning the park! As always, our checkpoints are marked on a detailed topographic map of the park and we’ll be using orange and white flags for you to visit.
