Speke Hall Night Run

Speke Hall is a rare Tudor manor house in a most unusual setting on the banks of the River Mersey. Surrounded by beautiful restored gardens and protected by a collar of woodland, it’s perfect for exploring. Now’s your chance to discover Speke Hall in a different light and explore the grounds and estate in the dark. Night Run will give you the opportunity to run in this beautiful setting with routes for all abilities and ages. Explorer – approx. 2km – Start your Adventurer race from our old maze field where you will take your running route past our glorious gardens you will continue running on the edge of our enchanted woodlands, past the airport. Your route will continue past our fishing dam and finishing back at the old maze field. This is a route that simply gives you a small flavour of Speke Hall and suitable for junior runners and families. Adventurer – approx. 7km – With twilight descending, you’ll enjoy set off on the Explorer course before heading off into Stockton Woods. Expect good underfoot tracks and trails as you head back in the direction of the house before embarking on a second lap of the Explorer route – this time in the dark. An opportunity for runners to stretch their legs whilst offering all ability levels the unique Night Run experience.
