Description: The Inaugural South Slough Trail and Treat 5k Fundraiser in support of South Slough Reserve Internships turned out to be a great event! The forecast called for rain but it was a beautiful day. 7 children showed up in all kinds of animal costumes for the Kid’s Dash. 17 runners and 9 walkers including some South Coast Running Club members participated in the 5k run/walk. Results are posted here. Everyone enjoyed delicious Rice Krispy Treats afterward. Photos were taken of the race and are available on our FaceBook page album.
