About the Event
The race is intended to be a difficult and fun free of charge backcountry event; any and all plans can change due to trail conditions for the runner’s safety. Snowshoes will be required unless the race director chooses to change the requirements due to trail conditions. All racers are required to carry 20 ounces of liquid and 600 calories of nutrition. Be Safe and Leave No Trace.

Race start/finish at the South Sourdough Trailhead near the University of Colorado Mountain Research Station off the Peak to Peak Highway CO 72 on County Road 116. Race begins at 9 am.
