The Slacker is the world’s highest half marathon, and starts at the base of Loveland Ski Area, at an elevation of 10,630ft, and descends to 8,400ft, for post race festivities in historic Georgetown.

 

The course includes a combination of dirt and paved roads, leading participants through beautiful wetlands, natural waterfalls, stunning views of the Continental Divide, and historic mining remnants! While it is mainly downhill, there are rolling sections as well.
