Description:

Based in Ashland, Oregon, each of the six legs of the Siskiyou Challenge features a different sport — starting with a 13K cycle from ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum out to Emigrant Lake, then transitioning into a 3K kayak across the lake and back, then back onto bikes for a 30K Cycle through farmland, downtown Ashland and up to the swimming reservoir. From there athletes hop off their bikes for a 6K trail run up through the forests, then jump on mountain bikes for a 13K Mountain bike race through the steep watershed. Finally, the athletes complete their challenge with a 6K run back to the science museum, where a delicious, organic meal of farm-fresh food by Fry Family Farm awaits them, along with family and friends and great music at the Health, Wellness and Outdoor Adventure Expo
