The Sir Titus Pie n Pickle Plod is a winter running event held along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in Saltaire, West Yorkshire, offering a mix of friendly competition and festive fun. Organized by It’s Grim Up North Running, the event features multiple distances, making it suitable for runners of all abilities. The course is flat, scenic, and fully out-and-back, following the historic canal towpath through Saltaire Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participants enjoy tranquil water views, rustic bridges, and cheering locals as they pass through this charming Yorkshire landscape. After crossing the finish line, runners are treated to the event’s signature homemade pie and pickle, a quirky tradition that has become a hallmark of the “Sir Titus” series.
