Sahara Race (Namibia)

Sahara Race (Namibia) is a 7-day, 250-kilometer / 155-mile self-supported footrace located in the Namib Desert in the Skeleton Coast National Park. The course takes competitors across stunning desert terrain in the oldest desert of the world. Competitors will cross a great diversity of scenery and terrain including beaches where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean, traverse through Seal colonies, salt pans, salt lakes which are home to flamingos, the infamous dunes of the Namib desert, into dry riverbeds where a hint of water gives way to lush green vegetation, past deserted oil and diamond mines and across vast open red desert plains and hills.
