Safe Animal Shelter Fundraiser Trail Run

Thank you for signing up for the Safe Animal Shelter Fundraiser Trail Run!! This year we will be adding a 5K in place of the 1 mile event. All proceeds will go to the shelter for the pups and cats!  Your race journey will take place in the gorgeous Jennings State Forest located at 2A Live Oak Ln in Middleburg Florida. The three distances will take place at the beautiful Sandridge Trail that is marked with pink indicators located on the trees that follow the trail. We will have additional markers on the trail. The half marathon is 2 loops, 10k is 1 loop, and the 5k will be a loop as well. You will be crossing several small bridges that cover fresh water streams. The trail markings, bridges, amazing signs, and trails were all created by our friends at Jennings State Forest. The trail is wide, flat, and runner friendly. Your run will be alternating between covered and non covered areas. There will be one AS located approximately 3 miles into the first loop and a second AS will be near the race start. The second AS will be for the half marathoners.  We will have water, HEED and HAMMER GELS (our wonderful sponsor) at the two aid stations. PLEASE bring your own hand held bottle and or hydration vest/belt IF you have one.  We MAY have limited cups available.  REGISTRATION: Packet pick-up will be on the day of the event, April 6th starting at 0600.
