The 2020 Run the Rim race is cancelled.

Join us for our third annual fun run at the Royal Gorge Park Trails. We’ll meet at the Royal Gorge Ranch & Resort, where the start and finish line are now in the same place. (No more bus!) You’ll get some amazing views of the Sangre de Cristo mountains and get a peek at the Royal Gorge Bridge in the distance. We’re featuring our newest trails – Made in the Shade and One Track Mind. The course is a “strong 5K”, designed with your enjoyment and introduction to the trails in mind.

**Please note: This run is mostly natural-surface singletrack trail. There are uneven surfaces, rocks, and hills**

While this run is NOT TIMED, you can vie for a bag ‘o miner’s gold – waiting for the first person in each age group (under 18, 18+, male / female) to snag it along the course! The finish line is conveniently located at the Royal Gorge Ranch & Resort’s Gunslinger’s Lounge, where your swag bag awaits, complete with a coupon for $2 off a beer at Whitewater Bar & Grill or 8 Mile Bar & Grill AND a snazzy commemorative cup.
