Run For Your Health Off-Road 5K

Run to take back your health at this unique adventure at the beautiful Oscar Scherer State Park in Sarasota on November 25th, starting at 10:00 a.m! This race is appropriate for all ages and winds through gorgeous nature trails in one of the few parks you have a chance of spotting the rare Florida Scrub-Jay, a threatened bird who only lives in Florida. Cam Awesome, plant powered boxer, speaker, and comedian, who was featured in the recent Netflix-original documentary, “CounterPunch,” will be your race host! Throughout your run, you will find cardboard signs with facts about improving your health and lifestyle. We encourage you to participate in trivia during the after party. Finish at Sarasota’s Solutionary Health Festival, where you can enjoy a free event with speakers, live music, amazing vegan food, kids’ activities, a scavenger hunt for kids & adults, veg speed dating, over 50 health-oriented vendors, yoga, and much, much more!
