Welcome to the 20th Annual Run at the Rock! Since 2005, trail runners from across the region have challenged themselves on the beautiful and demanding trails of Cedarock Park. Run 5K, 10K, or Half Marathon on awesome courses that include twisty single-track and smooth, flowing equestrian trails. After finishing the race, don your race hoodie (included with registration) and enjoy hot soup, great music, a free kids race, and a fun awards ceremony with lots of giveaways. Cedarock Park is located in Burlington, NC and is an easy drive from Chapel Hill, Durham, Raleigh, Greensboro, and Winston-Salem. See you in December for an awesome day of trail running action.

Cedarock Park has 12 miles of excellent single-track and equestrian trails. Each of the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon courses start with .6 miles of wide road and paved trail before hitting the single-track trails. After this beginning section, run along a combination of forested single-track and wide equestrian trails. There are plenty of passing opportunities spread throughout. We would categorize these trails as moderately technical, with a few root and rock filled sections and several punchy hill climbs. In terms of elevation gain, the one-loop 5K and 10k courses offer 217′ and 508′ of gain, respectively. The two-loop Half Marathon course has 999′ of gain.
