Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Races

The Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Races offer some of the most challenging, scenic, and unique 5K and 10K courses in Colorado. Our races all begin at the Royal Gorge Bridge and Park and finish 1,500 feet in the air on the Royal Gorge Bridge, high above the Arkansas River. The Rim to Rim Royal Gorge Races are an annual benefit for Starpoint, whose goal is “Partnering with individuals, families, and the community, enriching lives … realizing dreams”. All proceeds from this race will go to directly to the organization (http://starpointco.com/). Starpoint offers services to adults, children, and families in the Fremont County area. We also offer a FREE Kids Fun run and a Toddler Trot. These events are no charge to family members of 5K and 10K participants. Awards will be given to each finisher, and a parent or legal guardian must be present to enroll each child. Rim To Rim has both a 5K and a 10K run. Both are basically an “out and back”. The race starts in Parking Lot A at the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park. All runners will be on a paved road leading out of the Park for about .7 miles (this is all up hill) and turn right onto a dirt road that loops thru a picnic area. All 5K runners will be turned around before completing the full picnic loop and will then backtrack to the paved road, returning to Parking Lot A, going to the left of the ticket booths at the Main Gate of the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, and then crossing the Bridge for 1/4 mile to the FINISH LINE!
