Description:

NEW THIS YEAR: Would you rather run Rattlesnake Ridge, a well-loved single track gem of the eastern Issaquah Alps, dividing the Snoqualmie River Valley from the vast Cedar River Watershed, OR a fast half marathon along the rail trail? Pick your poison!

This event is part of the Half Marathon Trail Series, and runners in the Half Marathon distance will earn points toward their series standing. You can read more below or on the Half Marathon Trail Series page.

5 Mile: From the start at Rattlesnake Lake, the course crosses Cedar Falls Road (cross when directed by event staff), turns right to connect to the Palouse to Cascades Trail toward Snoqualmie Pass, reaches the turn-around point at the halfway mark, then returns to the finish at the Rattlesnake Lake picnic area via the same route.
Elevation gain: about 245 feet.

HALF MARATHON OPTIONS:
Rattlesnake Ridge: Runners will start at Snoqualmie Point Park, traverse the entire length of the Rattlesnake Ridge Trail, do a short out and back on the Palouse to Cascades Trail, and return to finish at Rattlesnake Lake (this revised route for 2018 is similar to the original route for this run.) Runners will start at 5:30am to avoid heavy trail traffic from hikers going up to Rattlesnake Ledge AND to catch a glimpse of the dawn light at sunrise!
Elevation gain: about 2900 feet.
