Description:

The Race Through The Redwoods is a 10K Race (and 1K Kids Race). We are in our 51st year of operation! The Race Thru The Redwoods starts and finishes at Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton, California. The majority of the 10K race takes place under the redwoods in Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. The first mile is on paved or dirt roads, followed by scenic trails under redwoods, through meadows, and alongside the San Lorenzo River. The moderate to challenging course rises approximately 300 feet in elevation between mile 2.5 and mile 3.5. The return is downhill on a mixture of dirt trails and paved roads, and finishes at the starting line in Roaring Camp. The course is marked with mile markers, and staffed with water/aid stations.
