THE RACE: Welcome to Cold Rock at Chimney Rock!!! We are so excited to feature this scenic out and back race on the East Coast.

It features A waterfall from the bottom of it all the way to the top of it. Showing off the view, the overlooks of several areas.

RACE START – FINISH:
Park Opens at 7 am
Bib Pickup at 7:10 am to 7:50 am
Race starts at 8 am
Race ends at 5:30 pm

PACKET PICKUP:
We will NOT have the day before Pick Up of the Bibs for this race

COURSE DESCRIPTION: Cold Rock 50K – CalTopo
The Route starts out at the Shelter. That leads up to the Four Seasons Trail. You take the Trail to the stairs, from there you will go right heading to the bottom of the waterfall. You will then turn around and head towards the parking lot that leads to the observation deck. When you reach this point you will start your trip up the stairs. We will have a total of 1,000 stairs total for you going up one way! You will go until you reach the top of the waterfall. You will then turn back down and come back the way you came until you reach the stairs to take you back down the four seasons trail to the Start/Finish Line.

Our flagging for the race will be RED Ribbon, and YELLOW Arrows!!
