Pucón Trail Run

The Pucon Marathon offers a unique mix of road and trail running set against the dramatic backdrop of Chile’s Villarrica Volcano. Starting and finishing at the Pucon Green Park Hotel (1,000 ft / 300 m elevation), runners begin with smooth asphalt roads through the picturesque town of Pucon before transitioning to rural paths. The course features a challenging blend of dirt, volcanic ash, lava rocks, and small pebbles, climbing steadily to the highest point at 5,300 ft / 1,600 m. With a total of 4,300 ft / 1,300 m of both ascent and descent, the route tests endurance and rewards participants with sweeping mountain and volcano views.
