Outback Scramble

DINO Director Brian Holzhausen ran in the Outback Scramble before the DINO Trail Run Series even existed. It’s been a fall tradition for more than 25 years! For 2023, the Outback Scramble has been gifted to DINO from its founders, Tuxedo Brothers Event Management (http://www.tuxbro.com/)

Tuxedo Brothers agrees that the participant base for Outback Scramble is the right match for DINO, and we’re thrilled to continue this humorous, fun, and challenging event! We’re moving it to the other side of Indy – in the hills of Camp Indy – adjacent to Fort Harrison State Park.

In addition to a course that’s more rugged than other DINO events (steep spots, creeks, some off-trail excursions), expect “eccentric” awards, time bonus for bringing back “trail toys“, and a continued focus on helping a charitable cause.
