Come, rain or shine, and enjoy the beauty of Montpelier’s North Branch Park as you travel across rolling singletrack, lush forested hills, and babbling brooks. Mass start for all loop distances and all categories: 9:30am.

Join us on June 21st, 2025 to experience the rolling hills and lush vegetation of a Vermont forest in its prime! The ORO Birdland 5k will start adjacent to the Montpelier Rec Pool and lead you into the trails of North Branch. Keep your hearts pumping and ears open as you’ll likely hear the melodic call of multitudes of birds, including Veeries, Hermit Thrush, Ovenbirds, Vireos, and more! The course consist of 95% single track, some technical roots and rocks, around 500ft of gain, and a maximum grade of 16%; An equation that should leave you with 100% smiles.
