On The Dam Trail: Quemahoning Relay Race

Get ready to ache on the lake! The On the Dam Trail is a 34 mile solo or relay race around the Quemahoning Reservoir. Sign up as a team of two or four, or if you are feeling brave, run it solo. The serene and wooded environment of Camp Harmony, Hooversville PA, serves as the registration, packet pick-up, and start/finish areas. Enjoy a shaded journey on a single track course through the rolling hills of south western Pennsylvania. The course traverses a few small stream crossings, occasional rocky terrain, and beautiful thick pine forests. The 34 mile course consists of two full loops around the dam.
Challenge your endurance with the full 34 miles, a 17 mile leg of the 2 person team, or one of the shorter distances (10 or 7 mile legs) of the 4 person team. The total elevation change for 2 laps is around 3100 feet. Several aid stations and relay exchange points line the course to provide support during the race. If necessary, there are several road crossings, and road access at the halfway point, if you feel the need to abort the mission
