NH Farm Museum Turkey Trail Trot

Description: First 5k and first 25k wins a heritage turkey ready to go home for Thanksgiving. Other prizes for 1K Kids Dash and age/gender groups. 5K, 25K open to all, 1K Kids Dash <13 years to enter but adults can run along with. Combination of different trail types through forest, 75 year old tree plantation, and along farm fields makes for a gorgeous run with great views. Free entry that day to the New Hampshire Farm Museum! Bringing awareness to the current trails throughout conservation land and to raise funds for the NHFM as we maintain or trails and forested lands. These trails provide visitors with access to some of over 60+ miles of trails for recreational purposes on protected lands in the Moose Mountains region. WE ARE GOING CUPLESS. As most of you already do, please plan to run with some form of personal hydration. This will help us cut down on waste created by the race. The 5km loop (figure 8 really) will be utilized for the 25K with 5 lapse. All of which on west side of rt 125 in woods and fields with a mass start in field to narrow into trails. The terrain may contain field path and some wide tractor / logging paths through forest but is predominately single track with mild elevation changes.
