New Hope Ultra

Description: Join us for Harrison County’s first Ultra Marathon trail run at O'Bannon Woods State Park! This rugged 50k race features technical terrain, breathtaking views, and a true endurance challenge in one of Indiana's most popular parks for hiking and adventure. The course includes two 13.5-mile loops and a 4-mile loop, with approximately 3,500 feet of elevation gain. Aid stations will be available at the start/finish line, an unmanned water station at 5.5 miles, and a full aid station at 10 miles. Looking for a shorter distance? We’ve got you covered! Choose the Mini Marathon, which covers one lap of the 50k course with about 1,500 feet of elevation gain. We will also offer a fun and challenging 6.6 mile loop course with approximately 840 ft elevation gain. If these distances aren't what you are looking for sign up for our 5k trail race.
