Description: It's not the mountain we conquer, but ourselves. -Sir Edmund Hillary Get ready to summit the tallest mountain in the Siskiyou range...or do it twice! This festive race to celebrate mountain running climbs Mt. Ashland through the ski area, then descends the "back bowls" around the mountain to return to the start. All races start at 9:00am. Packet pick-up is 8:00 - 8:45am at the ski area. There will be a pre-race briefing at 8:55am at the start line. The race will start and finish in the ski area parking lot. The course will follow the Mt. Ashland Summit Trail, climbing nearly 1,000' in about a mile. Catch your breath at "the ball" and then descent back to the ski area using Forest Service Roads 300 and 20. You can view the Strava route at https://www.strava.com/routes/3044331369622839442. Each lap is approximately 3.9 miles at 921' of vertical climb. There are three options this year: 1 lap, 2 laps, or 3 laps!!
