Mount Sunapee Run Into Winter 5K

Description: The 5K starts at the base of Mount Sunapee and meanders up into the hiking trails on South Peak. It’ll be a leg burner, but the reward after will be worth it: strong legs that will be ready for winter! The 5K starts in front of the competition center and then you go up lower Blast-Off (one of our most popular ski trails), cut over to Portage and once at the top, cross Lower Ridge and enter the woods, (at this point, in the first 1/2 mile you have completed most of the uphill decent.) Once you enter the woods, you meander on wooded hiking trails until you get to the top of South Peak. Water will be waiting for you here, before you enter the woods on our Black Hiking Trail. The Black Trail takes you out and about South Peak, gradually taking you down to the base. Once you hit the base, you will run around our Adventure Park, and to the base of our Summit Chairlift (the Sunapee Express.) The finish line will be waiting! We will also start serving Beer and the amazing food from our Pig Roast at 11:00am. Fun for all.
