Mount Agamenticus TrailFest

Description: The Mount A TrailFest is about getting the community and trail running enthusiast out on the trail network and supporting the stewardship efforts of the Mount Agamenticus Conservation Program. The races are from Beginner level for the kids, Intermediate for the 5K to Expert for the 9 Miler. Mount A is a challenging mountain set on the seacoast of southern Maine. The courses are mostly single track with dirt roads and ATV trails. Footing is tricky (technical) with rocks, roots and lots of elevation changes on the 9 Miler. The 9 Mile course brings you from 1st Hill (the summit) to 2nd and 3rd Hills and back. The 5K runs around the Ring Trail and doesn’t have the elevation changes of the 9 Miler. The Kids Run is at the Summit and will be all about fun. Good trail shoes/sneakers are recommended.
