Monument Valley 50K, 50M

Description:

Registration for all races is $40. Your registration includes performance shirt, finisher’s award, souvenir bib, MV decal, additional race swag and a chance for overall and age-group awards. Registrations made within the final two weeks of the race are subject to size availability of the event t-shirts. Race organizers reserve the right to substitute sizes and/or replace the t-shirt with race swag of comparable or greater value. All proceeds benefit community health and wellness programs on the Navajo Nation.

CHARITY BIBS are available. If you fund-raise $250, you will gain free entry and some cool swag, while supporting a great cause. You can also fund-raise more than $250 for additional prizes. Contact us if you would like more information about the MV Ultra’s charity bib program.

RACE DETAILS – The virtual events will be self-supported and self-timed, held at a location of your choosing. The 50-miler and 50K must be raced on Saturday, March 6, while the week-long 50-miler and 5K can be done between March 1-7. The week-long 50-miler is noncompetitive and you will tally your miles (but not your time) during the week. The 5K is a legit timed race with awards, so please submit your best time.

To keep things even, we ask that you run your race on dirt roads and/or trail. Please do not make it a track or road race. You also do not need to match MV’s vertical profile and don’t fret about re-creating Mitchell Mesa on your run unless you happen to have a hill in your back yard that rises 1500 vertical feet in 1 ¼ mile.

After the race, you will submit your time to us at the link that you receive after you register. If that does not work, please submit your time to our timer Josh at [email protected].
