Description:

The half marathon course is 100% trail on the Smith Rock State Park trail system with incredible views. Between miles 0.5 – 2.1, racers gain 905 feet, which repeats on the second loop between miles 6.8 – 8.4. Participants do 2 loops of the trail system and finish at the grassy area next to the parking area. Participants will pass 7 aid stations on the half marathon course and there is a bathroom house just southeast base of the helicopter pad, if participants need. At mile 4.25 and 10.6, participants can look left and see Monkey Face, a rock formation in the shape of a monkey’s face.
