Description: Fort McClellan was a United States Army post located adjacent to the city of Anniston, Alabama. During World War II, it was one of the largest U.S. Army installations, training an estimated half-million troops. Fun fact: There may (or may not be) land mines and ordnance still found on the fort. Be careful and don’t stray off the trail too far.?? Race will start and end at the McClellan bike trailhead.
