Lifetime Coldwater Trail

Description: Coldwater Mountain, nestled in the northeast corner of Alabama, is a true trail runner’s haven. Meticulously crafted trails for every level of runner, with smooth singletrack, challenging climbs, and fun descents, there’s something for everyone in Anniston. Add the vibrance of fall foliage and you’re in for an exceptional running experience. Starting in Downtown Anniston, runners will leave the start/finish area and will launch into the northeast portion of the Coldwater Mountain trail system. Using a series of green trails to access the crest of the mountain, runners will then embark on a 10-mile section of passable singletrack (newly constructed) off of Oval Office to access the southwestern corner of the trail system. Finishing up on the lower section of Bomb Dog, runners will then climb back up using a combination of singletrack and service roads to access the upper sections of Bomb Dog, before ultimately climbing Chilhowee to reach a new flyover construction. Then it’s down Goldilocks and up Cassidy on their way to Talladega and Trillium, before dropping down a new singletrack connector to the City of Anniston and the finish!
