Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle

Description: NEW THIS YEAR - The Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle is the final race in the three-part Vail Winter Snow Series. Join us for the Vail Mountain Winter Uphill race on Sunday, Feb. 19 and the Winter Bike Race on Saturday, March 4. Register for all three races for only $60 adults/$70 students. The sixth annual Vail Recreation District Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle 5K and 10K races and the kids' 1K fun run will celebrate all things green in the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day! Taking place on the Vail Nordic Center trails, the event includes race categories for snowshoes and Yaktrax, as well as a non-prize-eligible running shoe category. All races begin at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 18, followed immediately by a lively post-race party at the Vail Golf & Nordic Clubhouse. Snowshoe rentals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis donated by the Vail Nordic Center. Prizes will be given out to the top three women and top three men in both the snowshoe and Yaktrax 10K race categories. A free raffle for all racers will complete the fun with great prizes from local businesses as well as nationally-known brands. The Krueger Family Shamrock Shuffle will offer a fun athletic competition and is a great way to keep you moving between the summer season of trail running with the La Sportiva Vail Mountain Trail Running Race Series.
