Description:

The Konza Environmental Education Program at Konza Prairie works to bring Kansas school children to the tallgrass prairie. Work is centered on introducing children to the prairie in an effort to have them see what’s going on, understand the processes better, and to develop a new appreciation for this amazing ecosystem.

WHY RUN THE KONZA?
The better question is why not? The Konza Prairie is a beautiful backdrop for running. The trails there make for a wonderful experience. We hope that you will join us for one of the 5 distances that are offered between the two races.
