Kiwanis Adventure Run

Our adventure run is a trail run, which is more challenging than a traditional road run.

Due to the COVID-19 Virus Woodland Trail 5K (shared with the 5 Mile) portion has been rerouted to enhance social distancing. The Woodland Trail Course is Red, Blue and Green. The Start and Finish Lines have been relocated to accommodate this change. Depending on the weather or conditions on Honeymoon Island the course may be altered race day.

Due to COVID-19 social distancing there will be limited course monitors. Course monitors will be stationed at major turns.

Both runs use the Woodland Trail Course, Red, Blue and Green segments. The woodland trail portion is a combination of hard packed vehicle roads, grassy trails, dirt/mud, soft sand, and sugar sand. Some spots could be very muddy and slippery depending on the weather.

The Beach Course is subject to change depending on conditions. The beach portion varies with beach rocks, soft shell, hard and soft sand. Depending on the tide and wind some some portions of the course near the water could be in the surf or through mangrove roots or sprouts.

Both courses are challenging. Depending on the weather or conditions on Honeymoon Island the course may be altered raced day.
