Kearney 5K Trail Run

Description: Trail runs are becoming more and more popular; they aren’t just your ordinary runs. Trail running provides a different workout than track or road running does. The uneven terrain forces one to make use of a variety of muscles that tend to be unused when running on flat terrain. The monotony is gone as participants race across varying terrain, plant life and wildlife. There will be a loop consisting of varying terrain, grass, dirt, and cement trails, ascents, descents and more! Trail Running is for all levels and ages of athletes. Divisions will be: 14 & Under, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
