Description:

Welcome to the Hyner Half+ Trail Race
A 14-mile trail race in the heart of the PA Wilds. This course consists of some of the most beautiful and rugged single-track in Sproul State Forest. This event is open to runners/speed-hikers only and has a strict 4.5 hour time limit. Timing for the event ends at 1:30 sharp. All runners must enter a qualifying event and time before being an official participant. Here’s the basic rule — list any race that shows you plan on running at least parts of the course. This event was not designed for walkers. Speed hikers are allowed. ***By popular demand, we are now offering a 7K option for this event. The 7K will take runners/hikers up the first big climb (Long Fork), over to the deer fence, and then back down Log Hollow to the finish. It’s a great way to see parts of the course if the 14 miler isn’t in the cards for you.*** Post race food and beverages provided. There will be three aid stations — mile 4, 8, and 11.5. Hyner Run State Park is a beautiful place for a race and also has a swimming pool for runners to use throughout the day.

Registration opens December 16, 2024 at 7 pm to the first 225 runners. No Refunds. No Deferrals. No bandits. No exceptions.
