Hyak Passage 25K is a 15.5-mile trail running event on Saturday, October 3, 2026, based at Hyak Trailhead near Snoqualmie Pass, Washington. The course starts and finishes at Hyak Trailhead and uses the Palouse to Cascades Trail, the Snoqualmie Tunnel, and the Annette Lake Trail.
Participants begin by running through the 2.25-mile Snoqualmie Tunnel, continue on wide gravel trail to the Annette Lake Trail junction, climb singletrack to Annette Lake, return to Annette Lake Trailhead, then retrace the route back through the tunnel to the finish. The course has approximately 1,800 feet of elevation gain, two aid stations, and a 7.5-hour time limit.
The event is timed for participant tracking and safety, but public competitive results are not posted. Headlamps are mandatory because the tunnel has no lighting. Aid stations are located at Annette Lake around mile 7 and Annette Lake Trailhead around mile 10.5. Volunteers track participants at aid stations, and cutoffs are used to manage participant safety and course operations.
