Located in Al Hamra, Jabal Akhdar, Izki, and Birkat Al Mouz, the race unfolds in one of Oman’s most breathtaking landscapes. Runners traverse rocky trails, steep climbs, and stunning canyon paths while experiencing authentic Omani terrain. The event coincides with Oman’s National Day, enhancing the festival atmosphere with an outdoor sports exhibition at Bait Ar Rudaydah castle, featuring vendors, activities, and local hospitality.

The Himam Trail Run Race is Oman’s premier trail running event, drawing over 600 athletes from 62 countries to tackle the rugged beauty of the Al Hajar Mountains. This year’s edition offers a diverse range of races, from the grueling 110KM Al Hajar Ultra to the scenic 20KM Sprint, along with shorter community-friendly distances. The event serves as a global showcase of elite trail running, with participants earning ITRA points and competing alongside top international athletes.
