Hermit Pass Marathon and Half Hermit
3115 County Rd. 160 (Hermit Lane), Westcliffe CO, 81252, USA
Run from the floor of the Wet Mountain Valley on the east side of Colorado’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the top of Hermit Pass at 13,060 ft. This is one of a handful of marathons that top out over 13,000 ft. and climb over 5000 ft. in the first 11 miles. The Half Hermit also follows Hermit Pass Road to turn around at 10,350ft. The Lucky Hermit 13 K follows a loop on the valley floor that rises to 9000 ft. and provides gorgeous views of the Wet Mountains and the valley. The marathon and half marathon courses are rough, rugged and rocky, best suited for well trained, seasoned runners. The Lucky Hermit run is on graded county roads and can be enjoyed by all levels of runners. All events start and end at A Painted View Ranch on Hermit Road.
