Gunpowder Keg Ultra Trail Races

Description:

Gunpowder State Park, Bunker Hill area; This beautiful and challenging race is run on a 15.5 mile loop of mostly single track trails, a smattering of fire road, and a small downhill stretch on an asphalt road.
25K runners will complete this loop once. 50K runners will complete the loop twice. There are several “turn back to start” opportunities at shorter distances. Many of the miles are adjacent to the Gunpowder River with heron sightings and fly fisherman sightings almost guaranteed. We will have at least 3 aid stations for each loop, that will be staffed by courteous volunteers.

We will have race day registration, and parking is free and conveniently at the start/finish/25k checkpoint.

We ask all to bring a gallon of water for the aid stations, or any snack you might wish to share. We suggest a $15 voluntary donation which will go to BRRC (we are a 501(c)(3) non-profit) and the park, to keep this and other venues beautiful and available for our use.
