Golden Gate Trail Run (Summer)

Description:

Enjoy vistas of the Pacific Coast and of the spectacular Marin Headlands with views of Tiburon, San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge.
(Distances are accurately measured using a Rolatape® surveyor’s measuring wheel.)

Bib Number & Shirt Pick-Up

6:00 a.m. – 7:15 a.m. at Rodeo Beach.

Time Limit & Cut-Off

Marathon – 8 hrs 45 min (4 hrs 15 min, 11:30 a.m. @ 13 mi)

50 Km – 9 hours (5 hrs, 12:00 p.m. @ 19 mi)

Aid Stations

Fully-stocked aid stations every 4 – 6 miles. You can expect fresh fruit, salty snacks, assorted candy, water, and Clif Shot Electrolyte sports drink. It is highly recommended that runners carry at least 20 oz. of water between aid stations.

Cupless

In an effort to reduce waste and litter, we hope to have your assistance in going cupless at this event. We request that you bring your preferred mean of containing water during your run and at the aid stations. We will also have some small collapsible water containers and Coastal water bottles for sale at check-in ($3 and $5 respectively).

Please note that there will no longer be pre-filled cups of hydration at the aid stations. In case you really need a disposable cup, please request one from the aid station volunteers. We ask that you use only one. Thank you!

Awards

T-shirts will be given to all pre-registered runners. Award medals are given to the 1st female and male finishers overall and top three finishers in each age group. All finishers will receive a custom medal and 50 Km finishers will also receive a custom coaster.
