Imagine this…12 people on a team running a total of 208 miles. Teams can take on the challenge with fewer than 12 members, but you’ll still have to cover all 208. No Van Rental Necessary! Leave the driving to us. Think of a wheel. The “Tire” is the 104-mile route around Alleghany County, NC, run twice. The “Spokes” are the shuttle routes our volunteers drive you out to your leg start and back to GOMR Nation. And the “Hub” is GOMR Nation, the campus of Blue Ridge Christian School, where teams camp, relax, play games, and have fun in between running. Camp and stage your team in our massive GOMR Nation campsite with all the other teams. A party of athletes. The Get Outside Mountain Relay is North Carolina’s premier team relay. 200+ miles of gorgeous scenery and solitude. Rest, relaxation, fun, and community are what set GOMR apart from every other event. Fall 2022.
